does anyone know that if you die while fighting glint will you lose your survivor title? im going for the 2nd title and dont want to lose it to glint

Avoid any death even if it is in cutscenes, /resigns, missionfails or just straight up deaths.... or part of a storyline (like a cutscene) just avoid deaths at all cost.

Not all deaths are counted as deaths by "/deaths" command. The following circumstances will not affect the progress of Survivor:

Programmed cutscene deaths (be wary of Necromancer minions turning hostile). *
Triggered deaths during the Factions and Nightfall tutorial quests.
Deaths due to mission failure (i.e. due to loss of mission-critical NPCs or locations) or resignation (the "/resign" command).
Instant death mechanics (such as the crushing traps in Fahranur and Sorrow's Furnace, the Sulfurous Haze environmental effect, boulders in EoTN, and skill triggers like Death Pact Signet).
Dying in towns and outposts (i.e. non-instanced areas). Examples include the triggered deaths during Halloween events or dying from damage during mini-events like the Mursaat Rally.
Dying in certain special event PvP contests such as the Dragon Arena.
Losing all health while brawling (caveat: see below).
Deaths incurred when doing a BMP mission.
Deaths which occur while doing festival quests offered by the Rift Warden.
*note that if something like a minions or monster you didnt kill kills you, you will lose your title

of course you would lose it, it's part of the storyline which is just normal play.

It was also said once (don't know if it still does, but i'd still take the precaution) that every update sometimes things change and it's never always the same (meaning it will count or not count from time to time)

It's best just to avoid your character dropping on the ground at all in any way you can imagine when going for survivor...srsly.

If Glint kills you, yo will be dead. And your counter will go from 0 to 1.
